Valentine's Day Candy Shadow Box 💘

Today's Valentine's Day Candy Shadow Box comes courtesy of my mom. When your mom has a slight major addiction with shadow boxes, she tries to get you involved as well. While I don't mind doing shadow boxes, because in this case, I get to eat some of the delicious candy, I'd much rather stay behind the scenes and not take photos. If you haven't noticed, taking pictures is not my cup of tea.

While I might be a little too young to celebrate Valentine's Day, I don't mind eating all the chocolate and candy that is available on the said day. While the grown-ups think about love, cards, flowers, gifts, and dinner, etc., I think about all the candy that I can eat. To be honest, I don't even know why such a big deal is made about that day, to begin with. It's really just another ordinary day since I personally believe that you should be showing love all year round anyway. Who agrees with me? Anyway, this year to celebrate all the sweets and love you should indicate on February 14th, my Valentine's Day Candy Shadow Box is perfect!

Valentine's Day Candy Shadow Box

Here is what you'll need:

Supplies

1 - Shadow Box (preferably 8x10)
2pkg - Valentine's Day Sweetheart Candy
1 - Valentine's Day Stickers

(While we purchased the shadow box at the craft store, we picked up the candy and Valentine's Day stickers at our local dollar store.)

Directions:

Step 1. Remove the cover from the back of your shadow box.

Step 2. Empty your Valentine's Day candy into your shadow box and replace the cover on the back of your shadow box.

Step 3. Add whatever words you desire to your shadow box. We were lucky to find a package of decals at our dollar store that had the words "You Are Sweet". If you own a Cricut machine, this is where you can create your own vinyl decals and say whatever your heart desires.

This was one of the easiest shadow boxes that mommy and I have ever done. Took me less than 5 minutes and I even amazed myself. This is perfect for a teacher's gift, after all, teachers love receiving Valentine's Day gifts too.
